Among three pillars of Photography ISO, APERTURE and SHUTTER SPEED, Aperture is also one of the important factor to consider in Photography. It is simply a hole in the Camera lens. Basically Aperture is measured in F stops. It ranges from 1.4 to 22 and symbolically it is represented by F(Number).
You might wonder how photographer take sharp focused photo basically portrait shots, that’s all about simple play of Aperture in your Camera Setting.
Lower the F Stop number you will have bigger hole open in the lens making the particular object more focused as shown in above picture. You can Consider this phenomenon as Lower Depth Of Field. i.e (Lower the F stop Higher the Image Focused for Particular area)
Higher the F Stop number you will have smaller hole open in the lens making the image full focused as shown in above picture. You can Consider this phenomenon as Higher Depth Of Field. i.e (Higher the F stop , More area In Focused)
